Blessing lives in a household of eight. She lives with her mother Flavia and her father Stephen. Flavia is a peasant farmer and Stephen is a mechanic. The family lives in a two room home without electricity or running water. One of Blessings’ chores is to fetch water from the local well. She loves to skip and run. She is a shy and well-behaved little girl who hopes to become a doctor one day.
