Hope is a playful little girl. She lives with her mother and father in a small mud hut. She lives without electricity or running water. She helps her family by fetching water at the nearest well, which is located over a mile away. Her mother cares for the family of four, and her father works as a boda boda rider (motorcycle taxi). The parents are very poor and can’t afford to send Hope to school. She enjoys singing and aspires to be a nurse one day.
