Crisis Relief

There are a multitude of needs in Arua, Uganda, but amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic the most pressing one is food and hygiene supplies. The lockdown in Uganda has been severe enough to force families already living day-to-day into abject poverty. Every week, our staff distribute food and other essentials to children and their families. Your donation will go towards that distribution.

*AUGUST UPDATE

Our staff has begun to distribute home-learning packets to each of the children in their own homes. This takes huge amounts of time and effort on the part of our staff, and increased costs from printing packets for 450+ students and transportation for staff. Many children in the community are going entirely without education right now, but no Zozu sponsored child will be one of them. If you would like to donate to help this program, click the button below.*

It's predicted that many families who have lost work will be unable to provide an education for their children, even if they were previously able to. Sponsoring a child breaks the cycle of poverty in a family so that the next generation will not need food handouts in a crisis. Consider sponsoring a child today.
